Welcome to our Community!

What's Wesley?

The Wesley Foundation is a Christian community where you don't have to check your brain at the door to explore faith, learn about justice, and ask hard questions. We are a ministry of the United Methodist Church, but you don't have to be a Methodist to join us! Wesley is a place to laugh and build friendships. A place where you don't have to pretend to be ok when you're not. Whether you grew up in a church, or have no idea what you think about the whole Jesus thing, you are welcome here. Every week, we eat together, pray together, and hold each other up in love when things get hard.  Whoever you are, and whoever you love, we believe that you are a child of God who is of sacred worth. Come join us, sit by our fireplace, and join our authentic community. Our study and hangout space is open to all, regardless of religious beliefs.  Come and meet us! We have a mug of cocoa waiting for you!

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.

The Wesley Foundation is proud to be a reconciling ministry, which means that we are a queer inclusive community. What's a United Methodist?

Across the United States, Wesley Foundations can be found on college and university campuses. Named after John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, Wesley Foundations are dedicated campus ministry communities supported by the United Methodist Church.  The Wesley Foundation at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities is dedicated to advancing the larger mission of the church, as we seek to make disciples and empower young adults as leaders for the church and the world.
