REV. LAUREN RHEINGANS
Lauren Rheingans is thrilled to join the Wesley Foundation as Campus Minister. Originally from Illinois, Lauren first discovered the life-changing potential of campus ministry as a college student at North Central College in Naperville, IL. Lauren is a provisional United Methodist deacon. UMC deacons are clergy who seek to connect the church and the world through ministries of justice, compassion, word, and service. A graduate of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Lauren found her true ministry passion in campus ministry. She especially enjoys journeying with students as they strive to form their identities and claim their faith as their own. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys music, theater, reading, and crafting. Lauren and her husband, Adam, also enjoy exploring the beauty of nature in their new state. They attend Centennial United Methodist Church St. Anthony Park Campus in St. Paul.
Jill Apple is delighted to serve as Development Director for the Wesley Foundation. Prior to assuming this position in November of 2017, she served a three-year term on the Wesley Foundation Board of Directors. Jill is passionate about supporting the mission of campus ministry. She loves exploring the intersections of faith, vocation, and education and valued her experience working with students in their ministry discernment process as a seminary admissions counselor. Jill is well-known in the college admissions and college counseling profession both in Minnesota and nationally through her work at St. Paul Academy and Summit School and her leadership in the Minnesota and National Associations of College Admissions Counseling. Jill and her husband Scott attend Advent United Methodist Church in Eagan where they are very active in many ministries. They also love riding their tandem bicycle around the Twin Cities and sharing stories about their favorite bike routes.
